23. Swamp White Oak


Swamp White Oak Quercus bicolor– Rapid growth rate in dry, wet or compacted areas. Naturally found in low­ land areas (swamps, stream sides, depressions). Yellow fall color with hints of red and purple. Nuts produced at 20- 30 years are eaten by mammals and large birds. When mature will grows up to 90 ft. tall.
