StreamCo Willow — Salix purpurea — Fast growing, large shrub that can reach heights of 20’ within a few years. The rapid growth combined with the plant’s tolerance to flooding and ice damage make this a great candidate for streambank stabilization or quickly establishing a windbreak.‘ Streamco’ used primarily for stabilizing streambanks. It may be used with structures, such as riprap, planted alone, or planted in combination with other shrubs or ground cover plants.
