32. Blackberry, Darrow

$2.50

Find a spot with good sunshine and good drainage, avoid areas with heavy clay soil or sandy areas. If you are afraid your soil isn’t up to par for growing blackberry bushes, you should add organic soil matter to improve aeration and improve drainage. Produces large black fruit that is firm, fleshy, and sweet. Blackberry bushes will produce fruit over a long period of time. A hardy plant with a fibrous root system makes this a great candidate for erosion control too.  $2.50 each
