27. Black Gum Tree


Tupelo (Blackgum) Nyssa sylvatica – Grows 60-80′ with dense foliage and a conical crown forming from a straight trunk. Tolerant of a wide variety of soil types and drainages, but does best on well-drained sites. Blazing red fall foliage.
